Greetings everyone, my name is AJ Segneri. I am from Northern Illinois in a metropolitan community called Sterling where I went to both private and public schools. After attending community college and then going to a private, liberal arts university in Iowa I obtain a B.A. in organizational management with concentrations in psychology and communications. During my educational career I have grown fond of the Humanities and Social Science. I currently coach at a private school in Rockford, Illinois as the Women's and Men's Head Tennis Coach. I would like to pursue a graduate degree in Political Science or Law. I have been involved with the Green Party since 2008, and since then I have been involved in candidate recruitment, sit various committees, worked on political campaigns, and currently the Treasurer and Alternate Delegate for the Illinois Green Party where I am on the Ballot Access Committee. In the regards of LGBT issues I helped a campus PRIDE organization when I was President of my community college's Student Government to convince the Board of Trustees add sexual orientation to the anti-discriminatory policy. I also have participated in various rallies for gay marriage/unions and protesting for those who look down at homosexuality.
